Refund Policy

Clear guidance on refunds, returns, and cancellations.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to services, prints, and digital products purchased from Sage Field Studio Photography via our website, invoice links, or any agreed channel.

2. Photography services (sessions, events, editorials)

  • Retainers: Unless stated otherwise, retainers/deposits used to secure dates are non-refundable. They may be transferable once, subject to availability and our rescheduling terms.
  • Cancellations: If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled shoot, up to 100% of the reserved time/fees may become payable due to lost opportunity.
  • Rescheduling: With reasonable notice, we will try to move your date. Additional reschedules may incur admin or re-booking fees.

3. Digital products

Digital downloads (e.g., image files delivered online) are generally non-refundable once delivered due to their intangible nature, except where required by consumer law or if the files are defective or incomplete.

4. Prints and physical goods

  • Made-to-order prints: Custom prints are produced specifically for you and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
  • Damaged or defective items: If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and packaging. We will replace or refund at our discretion once verified.
  • Return process: We may ask you to return items in original packaging. Approved returns should be shipped with tracking. We will provide return instructions and address.

5. Refund process and timelines

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days after approval; your bank or provider may take longer to post the credit.
  • Shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us first to resolve any issue. Unauthorised chargebacks for services delivered or files provided may be disputed with supporting documentation.

7. Late or missed appointments

Session time lost due to late arrival may not be extendable. No-shows are treated as same-day cancellations.

8. Gift cards and credits

Gift cards and issued credits are non-refundable and valid until their stated expiry. They may be used toward eligible services or products.

9. How to request a refund or report an issue

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
